2024 Vendor Application for the 5th annual Monterey Bay Jade Festival

We are a non-profit organization powered by an all volunteer staff, so please be sure to enter all your information accurately.
All applicants must have a minimum of 51% Jade content to qualify for acceptance.
Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified of the results. If accepted you will be sent payment options. Your booth will be secured once full payment is confirmed.
The 2024 Festival booth fees are $545 for a 10′ x 10′ and $1090 for a 10′ x 20.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If you can not attend please notify our staff as soon as possible. Refunds will be returned to applicants:
If more than 90 days prior to the festival 100% of your booth fee will be returned. Then at intervals of-
90 days = 90% refund.
60 days = 75% refund
30 days = 50% refund
If your cancelation is received less than 30 days prior to the festival your refund is subject to us securing a qualified vendor replacement
The City of Monterey requires an annual Business License at the cost of $30.00 (link to city of Monterey)
ALL vendors are responsible to obtain and carry a valid CA Seller’s Permit. For Information (link to CDTFA)
Canopy requirements:
It is a requirement by the California State Fire Marshall that all tents be fire rated. Most new canopy/tent fabrics should already be compliant, but it is your responsibility to check. Older tents can be self-treated with a fire retardant as long as you maintain evidence of treatment, in the event the Fire Marshall conducts an inspection.
The State Park requires that all canopies have a minimum of a 25 pound weight attached to each leg. The use of any liquid as a leg anchor is prohibited.
No Drugs or Alcohol:
Vendors are not permitted to bring or consume Drugs or Alcohol on the State Park Property with the exception of Alcohol that is legally purchased at the event from a permitted vendor. Anyone found breaking these rules will be held responsible for all State imposed fines.
