New Vendor Application for the Monterey Bay Jade Festival

We are a non-profit organization powered by an all volunteer staff, so please be sure to enter all your information accurately.

Currently all 49 booth spaces are filled for the 2027 MBJF however every year we have cancellation or two, usually close to the show dates. Your application will be put on file for the 2027 show. Waiting list vendors booths will be judged by our executive committee for amount of jade, quality of jades, quality of carvings or jewelry and overall booth professionalism. Your answers to the questions below and photos submitted will go a long way in determining who is chosen, if an opening was to occur.

All applicants must have a minimum of 51% Jade content to qualify for acceptance.

MBJF booth fees are $545 for a 10′ x 10′. If you split a booth of any size with another vendor there is a $100 fee and BOTH businesses must have CA Sales Tax License and Monterey Business License.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 
If you can not attend please notify our staff as soon as possible. Refunds will be returned to applicants:
91+ = 100%
61 – 90 days = 75% refund.
31-60 days = 50% refund
0-30 days = No refund 

The City of Monterey requires an annual Business License at the cost of $30.00 (link to city of Monterey)

ALL vendors are responsible to obtain and carry a valid CA Seller’s Permit. For Information (link to CDTFA)

No pets of any kind allowed in vendors booth.

Canopy requirements: 
White canopies only. It is a requirement by the California State Fire Marshall that all tents be fire rated. Most new canopy/tent fabrics should already be compliant, but it is your responsibility to check. Older tents can be self-treated with a fire retardant as long as you maintain evidence of treatment, in the event the Fire Marshall conducts an inspection.

The State Park requires that all canopies have a minimum of a 25 pound weight attached to each leg. The use of any liquid as a leg anchor is prohibited.

No Drugs or Alcohol:
Vendors are not permitted to bring or consume Drugs or Alcohol on the State Park Property with the exception of Alcohol that is legally purchased at the event from a permitted vendor. Anyone found breaking these rules will be held responsible for all State imposed fines.
